On the 16th of October 2018, Synthomer announced the closure of Revertex Malaysia. Manufacturing at the Kluang plant will cease at the end of December 2018.
Revertex Malaysia manufactured a range of products including low, medium and high modulus prevulcanised natural rubber latex compounds. These are used in the manufacture of a wide range of products including household gloves, industrial gloves, surgeon’s gloves, balloons, latex sheeting, teats and soothers, latex moulds, film cinema special effects makeup and electricians’ gloves.
Closing at such short notice will present difficulties for their customers, but sourcing replacement raw materials is something we can help with. In conjunction with Getahindus Malaysia, we offer a range of natural latex products which match or exceed the performance of Revertex materials.
